FORUM Credit Union celebrates International Credit Union Day

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (October 5, 2015) — Credit union members across the world will celebrate International Credit Union Day® on Thursday, October 15, 2015. This annual celebration commemorates the credit union movement’s impact and achievements. In celebration of this event, FORUM Credit Union will offer special promotions at all of its branch locations.

As part of International Credit Union Day®, FORUM also celebrates its commitment to provide members with products and services to help them achieve their financial dreams. Members can take advantage of a variety of offers on International Credit Union Day® including receiving a free credit report and analysis and special promotions related to FORUM’s checking and savings account options.

International Credit Union, which has been celebrated since 1948, is an opportunity to remember credit unions’ proud history and promote awareness of and support for the credit union difference. This year’s theme, “People Helping People®,” embraces the credit unions’ longstanding philosophy. This philosophy has been important for FORUM’s history as it has operated for more than 74 years as a not-for-profit cooperative that works with a variety of initiatives to help both members and the community.
