FORUM employees raised over $91K for charities in 2025

Indianapolis, IN (January 15, 2026) |

FORUM Credit Union assists an employee nominated charity each year. In 2025, FORUM supported the Diabetes Youth Foundation of Indiana (DYFI). DYFI is a local non-profit with a mission and passion to educate, encourage, and empower children living with Type 1 diabetes, while providing support to their families. They serve hundreds of youths every year through their Residential Summer Camp, Day Camp, Family and Teen Weekends, Ambassador Program, and other outreach opportunities. In addition to DYFI, FORUM also hosts an annual designer handbag bingo event to support Dayspring Center, an organization dedicated to providing emergency shelter, clothing, and nutritious meals each day for homeless families with children in central Indiana.

In 2025, FORUM employees engaged in a variety of fundraising initiatives to benefit DYFI, such as raffles, a pinewood derby, a “SOUPer Bowl” event, PTO purchases, and more. These collective efforts resulted in over $91,000 raised ($23,000 of which was directed to Dayspring). Notably, this assistance involved providing DYFI with bunk beds, a commercial washer and dryer, and a financial contribution for a kitchen renovation. Additionally, employees contributed 882 hours of paid volunteer time off to support numerous community charities, including Dayspring, DYFI, the Hamilton County Humane Society, and Coburn Place.

After taking an all-employee vote in December, FORUM announced its 2026 Charity of Choice will be Hoosier Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation. This organization is committed to helping injured, orphaned, and sick wildlife native to Indiana. Their main work involves state-licensed rehabilitation with the aim of releasing animals back into their natural habitats. Services include veterinary care, shelter, and nurturing young animals. They are also committed to promoting healthy human-wildlife relationships via educational programs for schools, community events, and outreach initiatives.

FORUM employees are excited to continue serving the local community through this partnership in 2026.
