Four Decades of Success With Many More to Come

With WOCCU’s 40th anniversary upon us, now is a perfect time to look back on our triumphs and think strategically about the future of the global credit union movement. And what better way to do that than with our peers from around the world?

Before I retire this August, I hope you’ll join me for my last World Credit Union Conference as WOCCU’s president and CEO, July 24-27, in Glasgow, Scotland. Together we have achieved a lot over the past 40 years, and I know our members will continue to thrive in the years to come.

With some of the most brilliant minds in business including the Right Honorable Gordon Brown MP, former prime minister of Great Britain; award-winning entertainment including the bagpipe rock band Red Hot Chilli Pipers; and my international credit union family, I know I’ll be in good company and leave the industry in good hands.

Although WOCCU has been around a long time, the conference “early bird” discount won’t be. Time is running out, so be sure to register at www.woccu.org/glasgow2011 on or before May 19 to receive the discounted rate.
