Fred Blask named Corporate Central VP Risk Strategy & Execution
MILWAUKEE, WI (October 25, 2017) — Corporate Central Credit Union has announced the promotion of Fred Blask from Project & Compliance Risk Manager to Vice President Risk Strategy & Execution.
In his new role, Blask will lead Corporate Central’s enterprise risk management strategies, maintain the compliance culture, and coordinate internal audits and regulatory exams. Blask will also research, analyze and evaluate members’ business needs and, through cross-functional team efforts, work to form strategic initiatives that address those needs.
“Over the last 11 years, we have all benefited from Fred’s strategic and collaborative approach to risk, exams, audits and regulatory compliance,” said Nancy Morgan, Corporate Central Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer. “Fred has proven his ability to analyze, communicate and help us prioritize critical solutions as our needs and direction have evolved.”
Last year, Blask played an integral role in the digital transformation of Corporate Central’s risk management, business recovery and third-party oversight programs.

In his ongoing effort to support innovation at Corporate Central, Blask will participate with 15 other chosen individuals in the Wisconsin Innovation Group, organized by the Wisconsin Credit Union League, Filene Research Institute and Corporate Central. The project involves participants and their credit unions in a nine-month, innovative process to create, test and implement financial products, services and business model ideas to benefit members. Their achievements will be showcased at The League’s 2018 Annual Convention & Expo.
