Freedom Credit Union Merges With McKinley Memorial Federal Credit Union

Freedom Credit Union welcomed 87 new members as they merged with McKinley Memorial Federal Credit Union on April 16, 2012. With approximately $40,000 in shares and $10,000 in loan balances, Freedom will offer these Members increased product and service usage as a result of the merger.

The McKinley Memorial Federal Credit Union consisted of the congregation of the McKinley Memorial Baptist Church, located in Willow Grove. The new Members will have local access to Freedom’s Abington Branch, which features a full service lobby with an interactive kids activity area and a Mac-equipped Technology Center. The Branch is open Monday through Friday with extended hours on Thursday and Friday. It is also open Saturday mornings for Members’ convenience.
