Bringing together credit union professionals from the C-suite to emerging leaders, the conference offers four days of networking, skill-building, and strategy sessions designed to strengthen the industry’s ability to serve Latinx and immigrant communities. As the only national event dedicated specifically to Latinx professionals and their allies in the credit union movement, the NLCUP Conference provides an essential space to collaborate, share best practices, and shape a more inclusive financial future.
What You’ll Take Away
For C-Suite Executives
Leadership is never simple, and the questions you carry rarely have easy answers. The 2026 NLCUP Conference creates space for you to confront them with peers who carry the same weight of responsibility: how to expand your institution without losing sight of purpose, how to deepen member trust in uncertain times, and how to prepare the leaders who will follow. The C-Suite Roundtable: The Power of Perspective and exclusive Gallup insights will ground those conversations in strategy and data tailored to today’s realities. You will also be invited
to volunteer directly through the Rapid Fire Ask Me Anything: CEO Edition, a rare chance to share your own experience in a candid exchange that strengthens not just your peers but the future of the movement itself.
For Mid-Level Leaders & Managers
This is where you sharpen your ability to move from ideas to execution. You’ll gain practical tools for engaging communities, energizing teams, and expanding your institution’s reach. Sessions such as Board Governance Crash Course and Leveraging AI to Support Members
& Employees highlight innovative ways to respond to emerging needs, while collaborative workshops keep you connected to peers tackling similar challenges.
For Young Professionals & Emerging Leaders
The conference is designed to accelerate your career. You’ll build confidence in your leadership potential, gain exposure to mentors who want to see you succeed, and discover how to spark change from wherever you are. Hands-on opportunities like ¡Quien Me Viera!: A Public Speaking Crash Course and Resume Reviews by CU HR Experts ensure you leave with skills that translate immediately back into your work.
For Allies & Partners
You’ll find concrete ways to stand alongside Latinx professionals and communities in meaningful, lasting partnership. Sessions like Advancing Equity: A Latino Lens on CU Advocacy and Solutions for Serving Immigrant Communities provide frameworks for inclusive action, while cultural gatherings such as the Hay Poder en la Mezcla welcoming reception invite you into the heart of the movement.
