Longtime employee Patsy Gayda has been named STCU’s vice president-branches.

Gayda joined the credit union as a teller in 1985, rising through the ranks to become director of branch operations in 2004. In that position, she was instrumental in opening STCU’s U-District, Post Falls, Northtown Square, Liberty Lake, Silver Lake and Northtown Square branches.

In addition, she has completed the Credit Union National Association management school, a comprehensive three-year program. She is a member of the executive committee for the CUNA Operations, Sales & Service Council, a national post.

Strongly committed to community volunteerism, Gayda is treasurer for the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce and also serves on the organization’s board of directors and executive board.
