GECU Foundation launches second-annual Matching May campaign to support local nonprofits

The GECU Foundation*, the philanthropic arm of GECU, kicked off its second-annual Matching May fundraising campaign with a launch event on Tuesday, April 29 at La Nube in Downtown El Paso.

Throughout the month of May, the GECU Foundation will match donations made to each of 12 selected nonprofit organizations—up to $12,000 per organization. The campaign aims to increase community impact by supporting organizations that are addressing the most pressing needs of El Paso and Southern New Mexico, including education, housing, food insecurity, health, and other critical development issues.
