GEMC becomes Go Energy Financial

It’s Go Time!

TUCKER, GA (July 8, 2019) — As it continues to celebrate 50 years of service in 2019, GEMC is now poised for 50 more years of dedication as Go Energy Financial.

The employees of Georgia Electric Membership Cooperatives founded GEMC Federal Credit Union in 1969. These hardworking individuals electrified Georgia and built a financial community to support their family’s common goals of safety, security, and independence. They powered Georgia; their credit union powered their lives.

“Georgia’s electrical cooperatives inspire us,” said Denise Swan, Go Energy Financial CEO  “We have a focus through  our name to honor Georgia’s EMC community and rededicate ourselves to helping even more of our neighbors go where they want to go in life.”
