Genisys CFO Selected as 2010 Volunteer of the Year

Genisys Credit Union’s Chief Financial Officer, Wilma Wells, was recently selected as the CUNA CFO Council’s 2010 Volunteer of the Year.

This prestigious award is presented by the Board of the CUNA CFO Council to a member they feel is most deserving based upon their volunteer efforts on behalf of the CUNA Council.

For the past 15 years, she has simultaneously served on the following CUNA CFO Council Committees: Regulatory Committee, Conference Committee, Education Committee and Communications Committee Council.

“It’s an honor to be recognized for my involvement with CUNA,” said Wells. “I believe in giving back and helping to make a difference in the credit union movement.”

This is the second year that the award has been presented, and Wells was chosen from over 1,000 members.
