Auburn Hills, MI, October 20, 2010 – Genisys Credit Union sponsored the Shelby Parks & Recreation Department’s Halloween Boo Bash this past weekend on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Shelby Township Municipal Grounds. Genisys brought a costume character and metallic Halloween bags for the kids to use for Trick-or-Treating safely.

Kids ages 10 and younger were able to have a spooktacular time at this free family-friendly event with activities such as ghoulish games, costume parade, boo-rific bouncer, frightfully fun face painting, Halloween crafts and live critters from the Nature Center. Refreshments included apple cider and donuts courtesy of Yates Cider Mill and hot chocolate and coffee served by Caribou Coffee.

“This is a great way for families to celebrate the season as well as experience another great event hosted by Shelby Parks & Recreation,” said Amanda Gerhardt, Shelby Township Branch Manager.

Genisys has sponsored many events in Shelby Township this year including 3D Racing’s Stony Creek X-Tri, Kid to Kid Sale, Kids Summer Olympics, Lions Charity Car Show, Movie Night, Play It Safe Academy, Shelby Township Art Fair and Walk for Warmth. We are looking forward to the upcoming Mom 2 Mom Sale coming up on November 13th at the Shelby Township Community Center.
