Auburn Hills, MI, December 15, 2011 – Genisys Credit Union has installed 11 new Diebold Deposit Automation ATMs, making it easier for members and non-members to enjoy faster service and the convenience of depositing checks and cash without using an envelope.

“Genisys is committed to looking for ways to improve its ATM service, which is why we now have a total of 12 Deposit Automation ATMs in use,” said Chris DeWitt, Senior Vice President of Member Services.

These intelligent depositories enable users to insert cash or checks into the appropriate ATM slot where it goes into their account without all of the paperwork. They are then provided with an image of their check and a denomination break-down on their receipt for their records.

The ATMs accept either single notes or bundles of notes (up to 30) in different orientations with user-friendly instructions, graphics and touch screens. Voice guidance is also available with use of a headset to guide users through the transaction if needed.

“We are excited about these new enhancements to our ATM service,” said DeWitt. “With all of the new technology out there, it makes it easier than ever before to provide excellent service to our members.”

Genisys is also part of the CO-OP Network, which provides members access to over 28,000 fee-free ATMs across the country including over 5,500 7-Eleven locations. For a complete ATM list, please visit our website at www.genisyscu.org.
