Auburn Hills, MI, October 6, 2010 – Genisys Credit Union recently launched eDeposit and Mobile Banking, two new services that let Genisys members access their accounts when and where they want.

“Our goal is to provide members with products and services that make their lives easier,” said Jackie Buchanan, Chief Executive Officer. “Being able to manage their Genisys accounts from a mobile phone or a home computer helps them save time and money.”

eDeposit is a new concept that allows members to use a standard scanner to deposit checks to their Genisys account through online banking. It’s a quick, easy and secure way to deposit funds at no cost to the member.

“We know our members have busy lifestyles so eDeposit is a great option that lets them choose when to do their banking,” said Michelle Mattson, Account Management Manager.

Genisys also introduced Mobile Banking to their list of product offerings for members to do banking via text, mobile browser, downloadable app or iPhone application. Members can transfer money, view account balances, review transaction history and locate a surcharge-free ATM or shared branch. In addition, members can use our iPhone application to check rates, calculate payments and use a robust ATM/branch finder that can function by zip code or GPS location.

“We use the best practices from online banking to provide both security and a variety of features for mobile phone users to enjoy,” said Buchanan. “We want our members to benefit from using these electronic conveniences.”
