Auburn Hills, MI, November 23, 2010 – The holidays are here, and over 50 Genisys Credit Union employees, family members and friends helped pack 300 food boxes at the Baldwin Center on Monday, November 22, 2010 so that needy families in the area could have a Thanksgiving Day dinner.
“It’s great to see an organization come together for such a worthy cause and have fun helping people,” said Lon Bone, Vice President of Public Relations.
Genisys will also help pack boxes on Monday, December 20, 2010 for families to have a holiday meal. Another 300 boxes are expected to be assembled on that day with a variety of food for people to enjoy.
The credit union not only provides manpower for these events, but also gives a monetary donation for food to be purchased. Genisys has been involved with packing holiday boxes at the Baldwin Center for around 17 years.
