Auburn Hills, MI, October 22, 2010 – Genisys Credit Union sponsored the 15th Annual Whitpain Community Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Wentz Run Park in Blue Bell.

The event, hosted by Whitpain Township Parks & Recreation, was a combination of new and well-known activities including the Taste of Whitpain, Needle in a Haystack, Great Pumpkin Patch, musical entertainment, safety demonstrations, vendor booths, petting zoo, pony rides, hayrides, inflatables, bean bag toss, soccer kick, trackless train and additional children’s games and attractions.

Genisys brought several volunteers to help judge the drawings in the Community Harvest Festival coloring contest and to assist with painting pumpkins.

“It was priceless to see all of the smiles on the kids’ faces as they painted their pumpkins,” said Wendi Damiani, Blue Bell Branch Manager. “We were happy to be involved in the children’s area and to help Whitpain Township Parks & Recreation judge the artwork at this great event.”

Genisys has sponsored several other events in the Blue Bell community this year including the Summer Concerts, Summer Movies and the Whitpain Police Association’s 13th Annual Golf Outing.
