Georgia United Credit Union announces promotion of Tonya Harris to Vice President of Staff Development

DULUTH, GA (January 15, 2014) --  Georgia United Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of Tonya Harris to Vice President of Staff Development.  Tonya joined Georgia United in December of 2012 as Director of Staff Development and has been responsible for leading the staff development and training function. She has over 20+ years’ experience in training, consulting, organizational development, performance improvement, change management and motivational speaking. Prior to joining Georgia United, Tonya previously ran and operated her own business as CEO of Dynamic Visions, LLC, a training and consulting firm.

Tonya’s strength is in helping organizations shape strategic direction, determine deficiencies, define performance gaps and develop the employee base. And, she has provided leadership consulting across varied industries like: Aetna Insurance (physician and hospital constituency), Regions Bank, Community & Southern Bank in addition to Georgia United Credit Union.

She has a Masters in Management with a specialty in Project Management and Strategic Organizational Leadership. As a certified Executive Coach with ASI, she has utilized her certification to coach over 250 professionals in the past five years.

Tonya believes strongly in giving back to the community and supports collaborating with peer businesses, church organizations and individuals that have a passion for helping others foster a “pay it forward” attitude to young professionals. A mother of two, she is also involved in National Association of Professional Women and ASTD.
