Georgia United Credit Union invites you to help ‘Can Hunger’

Georgia United invites you to participate in their annual “Can Hunger” food drive benefitting food banks in local communities February 1 through February 28. Your donations will help stock the shelves of local food pantries and feed neighbors in need.

Please drop off non-perishable food donations at the Georgia United branch nearest you or make a monetary donation towards the purchase of food items.

The most requested/needed items are:

• Peanut butter
• Canned tuna and chicken
• Canned fruit and vegetables
• Canned soups, stews and pasta
• 100% fruit juice
• Boxed pasta and rice

For the last five years, Georgia United branches have collected over 200,000 cans (or 100 tons) of food during the month of February.  They invite you to join them in spreading the word and collecting boxed and canned food items.
