Georgia United Credit Union seeks donations for foster children in Annual Wish Tree Program

DULUTH, GA (November 15, 2017) — Georgia United Credit Union is holding its 27th Annual Wish Tree Program to collect new toys and articles of clothing for foster children in local communities. This holiday season, Georgia United invites you to stop by a local branch and pick up a wish for a child in need. Donated items should be dropped off by December 15 in order for deliveries to be made to local Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) offices and other charitable organizations in time for the holidays.

The Wish Tree Program is Georgia United’s longest running community service project with over 20,000 gifts donated to foster children in local communities. “Wish Tree has been part of our outreach for nearly 30 years,” Debbie Smith, Georgia United President & CEO, commented, “It helps foster children have a brighter holiday season by granting their wish during the holidays. Please help Georgia United by getting involved and help us grant holiday wishes for these local children.”
