Georgia United Credit Union weekend car sale event offers fun, hassle-free way to purchase vehicles
DULUTH, GA (April 6, 2015) — Georgia United Credit Union (Georgia United), in partnership with other local credit unions and an auto loan consulting company, will host a collaborative car sale on Friday, April 24, 2015, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 25, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Gwinnett Braves Coolray Field at 2500 Buford Drive in Lawrenceville. Georgia United members and the public are invited to attend.
The free event will feature over 400 new and used vehicles from local dealerships. Credit union and dealer representatives will be on-site to assist attendees with the car buying process and provide financing. Georgia United will offer a special loan rate on same-day purchases.
“This is one of the largest car buying opportunities in the area, but what makes it truly unique is the level of personal service buyers will receive throughout the entire process—from locating the right vehicle to financing it,” stated Mike London, senior vice president of lending at Georgia United. “Our partnerships are the heart of our cooperative spirit and allow us to leverage our collective resources to provide value and convenience to the members of our local communities.”
The purchase prices for the cars will start at $10,000 and trade-ins are welcome. To save time, Georgia United members can get pre-approved for an auto loan before the car sale at georgiaunitedcu.org.
In addition to the savings, attendees will also enjoy several amateur baseball games on Saturday, free refreshments, children’s activities and free parking. The event will be held rain or shine.
