Gesa Credit Union announces Jake Stamas as new SBA Relationship Manager

RICHLAND, WA (April 23, 2024)Gesa, a community-focused credit union, today announced the hiring of Jake Stamas as a Small Business Administration (SBA) Relationship Manager for Southwest Washington and Oregon. Stamas brings more than eight years of successful experience working in the financial service industry to Gesa’s award winning SBA team. 

In 2023, Gesa was named as the number one credit union for SBA 7a loan production in Washington and Oregon. 

In his new role, Stamas will specialize in business acquisitions and primarily collaborate with owner occupied businesses for real estate and equipment purchases. Additionally, he will work with the United States Department of Agriculture Business and Industry (USDA B&I) Loan Program to facilitate property acquisition for both owner occupied and investors in rural areas.

Stamas graduated from St. Michael’s College in 2010 with a double major in business administration and economics and a minor in finance. In 2015, he moved to Oregon where he spent the past eight years working in various roles at Citizens Bank prior to joining Gesa.
