SPOKANE, WA (May 20, 2016) — Tim Cassels has joined Global Credit Union as the Vice President of Accounting and Finance/CFO. Cassels brings over 22 years of financial and business experience and will assume leadership of Global’s finance team.

Cassels grew up in Washington state. He earned his Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration from Whitworth University and completed his Master of Business Administration from Washington State University. He began his career in banking and has had a wide variety of experience including Asset/Liability Management and Merger and Acquisitions. He has held the role of CFO, most recently, at Bank of Fairfield.
In addition, Cassels serves on the Executive Committee of the Spokane Guild School Foundation Board. He also is a board member of the Tri-County Little League, serving as the Coaches Coordinator.
