Golden 1 Credit Union named a Best-in-State employer by Forbes
SACRAMENTO, CA (June 12, 2019) — Golden 1 Credit Union (Golden 1) announced today it received recognition in a national study as one of Forbes’ Best-in-State employers for California. This is Forbes’ first-ever ranking of America’s best employers by state and includes all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
Companies were selected based on an independent survey from a sample of more than 80,000 employees working for organizations with at least 500 employees in the U.S. Golden 1 is the only credit union based in California to make the list and one of four credit unions included nationwide.

Forbes worked with the marketing research company Statista to identify organizations that were liked best by their employees and have what it takes to attract and retain top talent.

Employees were chosen anonymously to participate in the survey, which ran from October 2018 to February 2019.
