Grand re-opening set for Great Basin Federal Credit Union’s Sparks Crossing branch

RENO, NV (July 11, 2018) — Reno, NV-based Great Basin Federal Credit Union (GBFCU) is celebrating the grand re-opening of its Sparks Crossing branch, located at 295 Los Altos Parkway, Suite 105 in Sparks, NV.

An official ceremony and ribbon cutting will be held at the branch on Thursday, July 26 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. The ceremony will feature remarks by President/CEO Jennifer Denoo and Board Chairman Jan Gilbert. Also in attendance will be city officials and representatives from the local Chamber of Commerce.

In addition, an open house will be held at the branch during regular business hours from Monday, July 16 through Thursday, July 26. The branch open house will feature games, specials, giveaways, and opportunities to enter a raffle to win prizes.

The remodel serves to update and expand the branch, featuring an open and re-energized design that combines new technology and improved points of interaction to help Great Basin continue to build and strengthen relationships with its members, one of the credit union’s core values.

The new layout creates efficiencies to allow the credit union to serve more members as the area grows, and welcome those looking to open a new account or obtain a loan with prompt service and complete attention. There are enhanced areas for simple transactions as well as comfortable space for lengthier advisory interactions. New offices have been added to create more access to loan representatives, as well as open space to provide free community seminars. GBFCU strives to offer a fair, honest, and personal banking option for the community in the comfort of their own neighborhood.

“The branch is designed to support member relationships and engagement,” said Great Basin President/CEO Jennifer Denoo. “The design offers an open concept where members can explore and learn, be empowered with self-help technology, and free up employee time and space to spend the quality time with members to build strong relationships.”
