Great Lakes Credit Union announces new board member

BANNOCKBURN, IL (May 7, 2021) — Great Lakes Credit Union (GLCU) is pleased to announce the addition of Krystal Topps as the newest Board Member.

Steve Park, Board Chair of Great Lakes Credit Union stated, “Krystal will be a great addition to our Board of Directors. We strive to ensure a variety of skills and backgrounds. She brings a very diverse background of skills to the credit union board and along with her areas of interests I am confident we will work together to bring enhancements to GLCU.”

Steve Bugg, President and CEO of Great Lakes Credit Union stated, “GLCU is pleased to welcome Ms. Topps as our newest board member. Krystal’s education, skills and professional experiences will be a welcome addition to our Board of Directors. I’m equally impressed with her community involvement, which fits well into our mission and philosophy of People Helping People. I know Krystal will represent the members of the credit union extremely well in her new role on our board.”

Ms. Topps joins our Board of Directors with over 15 years of experience in the finance. She currently works at AbbVie Inc. a $45.8 billion global biopharmaceutical company, in North Chicago as an Associate Finance Director supporting Global Marketing. Ms. Topps resides in Vernon Hills and holds a BA from Michigan State University, and an MBA from Wayne State University. She is also an active participant in her community and volunteers at various different local non-profit organizations.
