Great Lakes Credit Union hosts a FREE Child Safety & Fun Fair
BANNOCKBURN, IL (September 12, 2016) — Great Lakes Credit Union’s (GLCU) Naperville Branch will host a FREE Child Safety & Fun Fair on Saturday, September 24th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 1519 N. Naper Blvd., Naperville, Il. Friends of all ages are invited to this fun-filled event!
“The primary purpose of this event is to educate families about different aspects of child safety including internet safety, smoke alarm safety, and stranger danger,” says Vikki Kaiser, President/CEO of GLCU. “Parents can also have their children fingerprinted using a free identity toolkit provided by Liberty Mutual Insurance.”
GLCU will supply free financial education materials while children enjoy treats, games, prizes, and face painting by Desiree. Visitors can participate in touch-a-truck adventure for an up close experience with a police squad car, fire truck, and school bus! There will be a special appearance by GLCU’s Kirby the Kangaroo, too! Adults will also have an opportunity to enter a raffle for a chance to win a $50 gift card to Odyssey Fun World.
This event is made possible with the participation of GLCU community partners, including the Naperville Police and Fire Department, Naperville Public Library, Westway Coach Downers Grove/Richlee Vans-Aurora, Chiro One Wellness Center, Fruitful Yield Health Foods, American Red Cross and Liberty Mutual Insurance.
