Greater Nevada Credit Union awards annual spring training trip

Members and Baseball fans win getaway ahead of the 2019 season

A group of lucky winners and their guests recently experienced spring training in Scottsdale, AZ. thanks to an annual contest hosted by Greater Nevada Credit Union (GNCU) and Reno Aces Baseball.

GNCU is the title sponsor of Greater Nevada Field and the official financial services provider to Reno Aces Baseball and Reno 1868 FC Soccer. For the past three years, GNCU and the Aces, the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, have partnered to give GNCU members and Aces fans a chance to win this exclusive sneak peek of the Diamondbacks in action.

Each winner and guest had the opportunity to see Diamondbacks’ spring training games, and the trip also included round-trip airfare; a two-night stay at Talking Stick Resort; VIP tours of Salt River and Chase Fields; ground transportation; and a $100 gift card.

This popular sweepstakes has marked the kickoff of many special promotions GNCU offers members at Greater Nevada Field.

“At Greater Nevada Credit Union, we always enjoy partnering with the Reno Aces to interact with fans on and off Greater Nevada Field,” said GNCU EVP/COO Dean Altus. “This spring training trip is a unique opportunity to watch future Aces players prepare for the season. It’s also a great way for fans to join GNCU members and representatives on a fun and memorable baseball-themed adventure.”

On May 25, GNCU is hosting Member Appreciation Day where members can get half-priced Aces tickets and one member will win a chance to throw out the first pitch. All season long, members get can discounts on Aces and 1868 season and single-game tickets and enjoy access to a fee-free ATM at Greater Nevada Field.

In addition to member-only offers, GNCU is proud to sponsor the Community Partners Program with the Reno Aces. Last year, the program raised $61,000 for area nonprofits and the top three fundraising organizations were awarded additional donations from GNCU.
