AUSTIN, TX (November 16, 2015) — Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union (GTFCU) is pleased to announce that it has again been selected as one of the Austin American-Statesman’s Top Workplaces. The formal announcement was made in the Sunday, November 15, 2015 Austin American-Statesman newspaper.

This is the fourth year in a row that Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union and its 18 locations across the state of Texas have been nominated as a Top Workplace. The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback. The survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. GTFCU employees said they feel that the credit union operates by strong values and ethics, which is important in today’s business environment. The credit union staff also stated that management makes it easy to learn and grow and achieve higher success at their positions and towards advancement.

Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union President and CEO Tommy D. Seargeant said, “It is an honor to be voted the top workplace for the fourth year in a row. Our members have reminded us over and over that the main reasons they stay with GTFCU are the relationships they have developed with our staff. Each of our employees contributes to those relationships and as a result, contributes to our success. Simply put, we couldn’t operate without them. Our Board of Directors and I want to thank all of our staff for the outstanding way in which they serve our members.” Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union was established in 1952, has over 170 employees and 18 branches across Texas to serve its members.
