Greylock announces promotions for Rathbun-Briggs and Stoddard
PITTSFIELD, MA (December 15, 2015) — Greylock Federal Credit Union’s Board of Directors approved the promotions of Jodi Rathbun-Briggs to Senior Vice President/Chief Lending Officer and Michael Stoddard to Executive Vice President. Rathbun-Briggs was previously Vice President of Commercial Banking and will replace Chief Lending Officer Charles A. Bercury who is retiring at the end of 2015. Stoddard will continue in his role as Greylock’s Chief Financial Officer.
Rathbun-Briggs has been with Greylock for five years, after a 10-year banking career. She joined Greylock as the Assistant Vice President of Risk Management and within a short time was promoted to Vice President of Commercial Banking. Prior to her banking career, Rathbun-Briggs was a CPA at a local accounting firm. She serves on the Pittsfield Rotary, the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, and is President of Community Health Programs.
Greylock President and CEO John L. Bissell said, “Charlie leaves Greylock following a truly remarkable lending career of over 40 years, and we wish him well. I am delighted that Greylock has someone as talented and well-prepared as Jodi to assume the role of Chief Lending Officer.”
Stoddard has been with Greylock since 2014. Previously, he spent 30 years at Concord Savings Bank in Concord, NH, and at Maine Bank & Trust in Portland, ME. He held many leadership roles at these two financial institutions including Chief Financial Officer, and Head of Retail and Small Business Banking. Stoddard currently serves as a board member of United Cerebral Palsy of Berkshire County. He has served in many community service positions during his career, including the United Way of Greater Portland as a board member, and 2010 Annual Campaign Chair.
“Mike has been an important partner for me and for the entire team since his first day at Greylock,” added Bissell. “He is a natural collaborator and truly embraces the concept of community banking. I am pleased that he will be overseeing new responsibilities and initiatives while continuing his role as Chief Financial Officer.”
