Groundbreaking ceremony held for new location of FORUM Credit Union branch

INDIANAPOLIS, IN, (October 2, 2014) -- FORUM Credit Union recently held a groundbreaking ceremony on the future site of its newest branch location. The new branch will be located at 7855 Brookville Road and will replace FORUM’s current branch at 8201 East Washington Street.

The new location, which is approximately 2.5 miles south of the current branch, is expected to open in the spring of 2015. The new branch will feature a full-service lobby equipped with innovative teller pods and a soft seating, multipurpose area that will allow members to access their accounts on computers and tablet devices. The branch will also feature a drive-up ATM, a new service that members who utilize the current location are not used to having.

“This new branch is part of FORUM’s continued commitment and approach to providing outstanding service and convenience to our members,” said Doug True, CEO of FORUM Credit Union. “The new location will provide easy access for those visiting the branch and support future growth.”

The groundbreaking ceremony featured guests from the design firm of the new branch, Browning Day Mullins Dierdorf Architects, and construction partner Shiel Sexton Company, Inc. Members of FORUM’s executive team and branch staff also took part in the ceremonial turning of the dirt.
