Grow Financial has been selected by The Tampa Bay Times as one of the Top Work Places of 2013
Credit Union Ranked Number One in Large Category
Tampa, FL (April 22, 2013) – Grow Financial, one of the leading Credit Unions in the nation has been selected by The Tampa Bay Times as one of the Top Work Places of 2013 for the second year in a row out of 100 different companies in the Tampa Bay area. Each year, The Tampa Bay Times ranks the top work places in three different categories including large, midsize and small. Last year Grow Financial was ranked number 16 in the midsize category, and this year they have been ranked number one in the large category (500 + employees) out of 20 other large size companies in the Tampa Bay area. Rankings are based on six different workplace factors including: directions, execution, connection, my work, my manager, and my pay & benefits. Out of the six factors, Grow Financial scored the highest in my work.

Some of the qualities employees of Grow Financial stated on the Top Work Places survey that they enjoyed the most included the friendly work environment, flexibility to balance work and home schedules, a team centered culture, great benefits, and the opportunity to advance in the organization as the Credit Union expands.
Ashley Henry, 28, a training specialist who has been with Grow Financial for more than six years, told the Tampa Bay Times that Grow doles out up to four tickets per family to use at USF Bulls games and other outings. “To enjoy the Grow family with your own family is so great,” she said.
The Credit Union participates in a number of activities throughout the year to keep engagement high among employees including hosting an annual “Get Fit Challenge” as well as a Health Fair, celebrating diversity in the work place with various cultural celebrations, and all employees have free access to a fully-equipped fitness center available at the Corporate Office.
