GTE Financial supports American Heart Association Tampa Bay Heart Walk for ninth year, raised over $222,500 since 2015

TAMPA, FL (November 2, 2023)Local not-for-profit credit union GTE Financial will participate in the American Heart Association’s 2023 Tampa Bay Heart Walk at Raymond James Stadium. For the past nine years, GTE has been supporting the organization as a local sponsor, and this year, it will sponsor a photo booth for participants of the walk. The event takes place on Saturday, November 4, and opens at 7:30 a.m.; the walk begins at 9:00 a.m. 

“At GTE, we align with organizations that positively impact the Tampa Bay community. Everyone at our organization truly loves the community we serve and as the charity champion for the American Heart Association, we are beyond proud to support this incredible organization to help join the fight against heart disease and stroke, and advocate for healthier communities,” said Brad Baker, Executive Vice President, and Chief Financial Officer at GTE Financial. 

GTE Financial proudly supports the American Heart Association as their October Charity of the Month. Each month, the credit union focuses its charitable efforts on one organization, which it supports and raises money for. GTE has raised a total of $222,846 for the organization since 2015.
