GTE Financial’s Chief Human Resource Officer wins category at TBBW’s 2023 Apogee Awards

Local not-for-profit credit union GTE Financial is proud to announce its Senior Vice President and Chief Talent Officer, Jasiel Legon, won in the Chief Human Resource Officer category at Tampa Bay Business and Wealth's 2023 Apogee Awards. The Apogee Awards recognizes distinguished c-suite leaders whose dedication to their industries and communities deserves recognition.

Jasiel joined GTE Financial in August 2016 and has more than 28 years of experience in financial services. He began his career as a teller in 1995 with Barnett Bank in Tampa, Florida. He has held numerous leadership positions with some of the largest commercial banks in the US. Since joining the organization, GTE Financial has been recognized as a Tampa Bay Times "Top Workplaces" and Tampa Bay Business Journal "Best Places to Work". Additionally, in 2022, GTE Financial earned the prestigious nationwide distinction as "America's Most Loved Workplaces" by Newsweek in collaboration with Best Practice Institute.
