Gulf Winds Credit Union raises over $100,000 in Chip in Fore charity golf tournament

Pensacola, FL (April 20, 2026) |

On Monday, April 13, the Gulf Winds Foundation proudly hosted its third annual charitable golf tournament, Chip in Fore Charity, at Pensacola Country Club in Pensacola, FL. The day brought the  credit union community together for a memorable mix of golf, connection, and generosity, raising more than $100,000 to support the Gulf Winds Foundation and its ongoing impact.

A full roster of teams competed in a classic four-player scramble featuring a hole-in-one challenge to win a  brand-new Honda vehicle, and several on-course games, including one with the Pensacola Ice Flyers.

Through the funds raised, the tournament strengthens Gulf Winds Annual Scholarship Program and supports local  non-profit partners including Manna Food Pantry, Council on Aging of West Florida, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida, Rally Foundation, and other organizations dedicated to creating impact throughout the region.

During the award ceremony, Paula Shell, President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida, spoke  about the event’s impact, emphasizing the power of community partnerships, the importance of investing in local  youth, and how Gulf Winds continues to show up and put those commitments into action.

The tournament was made possible through the generosity of sponsors, including presenting sponsor, Fiserv, pre tournament sponsor Visa, preeminent sponsors BKJ Architecture, MeridianLink, Glia, Solenture, Greenhut  Construction, Pensacola Honda, and the Ice Flyers Foundation, and other key sponsors including PAI/Brinks, Experian,  Allied Solutions, Route 66, Blue Mantis, Confluent Strategies, Gallagher, Nutanix & Presidio, Pensacola Ford, Audi, Ramond James Asset Management Services, NFP an Aon Company, Zest AI, and Warren Averett.
