Hanscom FCU participates in annual Toys for Tots drive
HANSCOM AFB, MA (December 12, 2017) — Hanscom Federal Credit Union is once again participating in the annual Toys for Tots drive by setting up collection sites at five of its branches. The public is invited to donate new, unwrapped children’s toys to be contributed to the United States Marine Corps’ annual Toys for Tots drive. The donated toys will be delivered to local children who might otherwise receive no toys at Christmas.
“This program unites all of us in the holiday spirit by helping less fortunate children in the community,” said Hanscom FCU Chairman Paul Marotta. “It is one of the many ways that we can join together in the credit union philosophy of ‘people helping people.’”
Collection boxes are prominently displayed at the entrances of these Hanscom FCU branch locations: Bedford, Burlington, Devens, MITRE Bedford, and the main branch on Hanscom Air Force Base.
For the past 70 years, the United States Marine Corps Reserve has conducted the Toys for Tots program nationwide. Each year, toys are collected during October, November and December. For more information about the Toys for Tots program, visit www.toysfortots.org.

The Hanscom Federal Credit Union Partner Relations team helps to organize the distribution of donations to the Toys for Tots program.
