Hanscom FCU sponsors Airman Leadership graduates

HANSCOM AFB, MA (December 1, 2017) — Earlier this month, twelve future noncommissioned officers were recognized for completing the Airman Leadership School (ALS) training held on Hanscom Air Force Base. Hanscom Federal Credit Union sponsored the event, as it has in the past.

“We are grateful for these accomplished men and women,” said Hanscom FCU Chairman Paul Marotta. “They are future leaders, ready to lead Air Force work teams. The ALS training is a testament to hard work and commitment, and Hanscom FCU is proud to sponsor this program.”

The Airman Leadership School is a five-week class designed to prepare graduates for supervisory roles. Participants study academics, hone their leadership skills, and participate in team exercises.

During the graduation ceremony, SrA Amy Dziewaltowski was recognized with the John L. Levitow Award, an honor reserved for the student who scored the best in performance evaluations and demonstrated leadership.

Hanscom FCU Chairman Paul Marotta, Commander 66th Air Base Group Col Roman Hund, Levitow Award recipient SrA Amy Dziewaltowski, DCUC President CEO Anthony Hernandez, and Hanscom FCU President/CEO David Sprague.
