Harvester Financial CU’s Elizabeth Olson receives Emerging Leadership Award

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (October 30, 2019) — Elizabeth Olson of Harvester Financial Credit Union (CU) is a recipient of the 2019 Emerging Leadership Award from the Indiana Credit Union League.

In the five and a half years she has been at Harvester Financial CU, Olson has moved up from a Member Service Representative position to her current job as the credit union’s Marketing Manager. She is also the core system expert and data specialist. She represented Indiana as a crasher for the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference in 2018, and she is currently on the Membership Committee for CUNA’s Marketing & Business Development Council. Recently, she began a three-year commitment as a student at CUNA Management School, and she will be attending Compliance School next year.

She volunteers for an organization that helps women recover from human trafficking.

The Emerging Leadership Award was developed in order to recognize the next generation of credit union leaders in Indiana for their accomplishments and for their potential to be an Indiana credit union leader in the future. Olson was honored October 25, during the Chairman’s Awards Banquet, a special event during the Indiana Credit Union League’s annual convention.
