Hawthorne Credit Union Shred Day and Food Drive to be held in Bolingbrook
Hawthorne Credit Union is hosting their monthly Shred Day and Food Drive. The community event allows individuals a secure and easy way to discard documents containing personal information, while giving back to the community.
During the March Shred Day over 360 pounds of food was collected and donated to Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry, which serves more than 3,650 families comprised of over 15,000 individuals, half of them children in the Naperville area.

Shred Day is open to the public and each participant is welcome to bring up to 2 boxes of old paperwork and documents containing personal information. In lieu of a shredding fee, Hawthorne ask that non-perishable food items be brought for the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry of Naperville.
