CHARLESTON, SC (November 7, 2017) — Katie Warren, Operations Support Manager with Heritage Trust, was recently named the winner of the 2018 Lowcountry Chapter of Credit Unions’ CUaware Protégé Competition in Charleston, SC. This competition is an opportunity for credit unions and chapters to recognize the value and potential in rising young professionals, enhance chapter programming and credit union interest, reinforce cooperative principles and credit union philosophy -ultimately supporting CUaware and the league’s investment in developing leadership. To participate, eligible candidates are required to submit a written essay outlining their credit union knowledge and deliver an oral presentation to a panel of judges.
