Hiway Federal Credit Union appoints new VP of Payments
ST. PAUL, MN (August 6, 2015) — Hiway Federal Credit Union (Hiway) is pleased to welcome Jeff Schuetz as Vice President of Payments. With a rapidly changing electronic payments landscape, Hiway will invest in this critical space to ensure continuous improvement and excellence in payment options for members.
“Jeff brings over 25 years of payments experience to Hiway and we are excited to have him lead our efforts to continue to offer innovative payments products and the latest in mobile payment technology,” said Aaron Kastner, SVP of Finance and Planning.
Jeff’s background includes deep experience across financial services and transaction-related businesses. This includes development, launch, and portfolio management of new and existing credit & debit products, ATM sales, prepaid card marketing, strategic partnerships, channel sales and more. Most recently, he was Vice President & Sr. Product Manager for a major Midwest financial institution, leading all aspects of a nearly $300 million credit card portfolio.
In this new role, Jeff is responsible for providing strategic direction in the development and implementation of current and new payment services through a growing team of payment professionals, ensuring Hiway members have the ability to conduct payment transactions in a simple, secure and convenient manner.
