Hiway Federal Credit Union named to Kiplinger’s Best Credit Unions Almost Anyone Can Join

ST. PAUL, MN (July 27, 2020) — Hiway Federal Credit Union® (Hiway) was recently named to Kiplinger’s Personal Finance list of Best Credit Unions Almost Anyone Can Join for the second time. This year, Hiway was awarded with the second-place Silver in the national category. The publication highlighted Hiway’s new Hi Yield Checking Account as well as the credit union’s competitive rates for Hiway’s savings accounts, money market accounts and certificates.

Kiplinger’s bases their honoree list on data from Informa Research Services while factoring in a credit union’s fee structure, minimum-balance requirements and rates of return on checking, savings and certificate accounts. Hiway’s new Hi Yield checking account offers a very strong 2.22% APY when members meet certain requirements. 1

“We’re in the business of improving the financial lives of our members and we’re honored to be recognized by a highly regarded organization like Kiplinger’s for the many ways we provide member value,” said Hiway President/CEO Dave Boden.
