ST. JOSEPH, MI (April 22, 2014) -- Honor Credit Union’s 2nd Annual Video Challenge results are in! Winning the $3,000 first place prize with a video showcasing Honor’s Community Commitment Scholarship was Mattawan High School’s Broadcasting class. Benton Harbor Arts and Communication Academy took the $1,000 second place prize with a video demonstrating Honor’s dedication to youth development. For the first time, Honor also awarded a third place prize of $100. Paw Paw Later Elementary won this third place prize with a video about Honor’s student credit union program.
All three videos are posted on Honor Credit Union’s YouTube site. Mattawan’s first place video will also be used in some of Honor Credit Union’s future advertising efforts. To be eligible to win, all videos submitted were to highlight Honor’s contributions to local communities. The videos also had be created, filmed, and edited by the schools and students themselves to be considered. Supporting the communities, youth, and educational systems remains a focus of Honor Credit Union, and the Annual Video Challenge is a great example of that focus.
“The reaction from the schools and the quality of the videos submitted was outstanding,” comments Director of Marketing Jeff Pisarsky. “We were incredibly impressed by the videos that students were able to create this year.”
