Houston Chapter of Credit Unions raises Advertising Cooperative funds with TopGolf Tournament
HOUSTON, TX (July 19, 2016) — The Houston Chapter of Credit Union continues to raise funds for its Advertising Cooperative (Ad Co-op). On Wednesday, June 29th, 2016, over 80 participants made up from credit union staff and business partners participated in the Chapter’s annual TopGolf Tournament at TopGolf-West in Houston, TX. The event raised over $7,500 for the chapter’s Ad Co-op. Jamie Philley, A.V.P of Human Resources at United Community Credit Union and event organizer said “this is our 4th year putting on the TopGolf Tournament for the Houston Chapter and each year, we’ve seen tremendous growth in turn out and overall participation, we are very excited about building upon this success for future tournaments.
The tournament winners were:
- 1st Place Fistaff Staffing
- 2nd Place OnSite Maintenance
- 3rd Place Investex Credit Union
The TopGolf Tournament is one of many efforts the Houston Chapter of Credit Union supports the community and enhances the quality of life in the Greater Houston Area. The Houston Chapter of Credit Union provides a collaborative environment for credit union professionals and volunteers to received education, leadership development, and grow credit union community influence. The Houston Chapter is comprised of over 100 credit unions in the Houston metropolitan area.
