HUECU offers estate planning tools and education to membership

Harvard University Employees Credit Union (HUECU) partners with Gentreo

CAMBRIDGE, MA (July 18, 2023) — According to Caring.com’s 2023 Wills and Estate Planning Study, only 1 in 3 Americans have an estate plan. HUECU is working to increase that number by offering its members an easy, affordable and award-wining estate planning solution- Gentreo.

Gentreo enables users to create Wills, Health Care Proxies, Powers of Attorney, and Pet Powers of Attorney, and to securely store and share those documents with their closest contacts.  The estate planning documents are legally binding, state-specific, and easy to create online.

“By proactively addressing our member’s future, we are empowering our community to protect their loved ones, assets and legacy” said Craig Leonard, HUECU President and CEO “And, we are helping provide peace of mind, which is invaluable”.

HUECU is dedicated to equipping members with knowledge to understand the importance of estate planning. HUECU and Gentreo will host webinars where members can learn more about estate planning and have their questions answered live by estate planning experts.

The Gentreo service is being offered free of charge through September 2023 to all 50,000+ HUECU members. A one-year subscription is $100 and the subscription would be $50 for the subsequent years. However, members may qualify for a 50% or 100% discount.

People can learn more about Gentreo and sign up for estate planning webinars at www.huecu.org/gentreo.
