INDIANAPOLIS, IN (November 10, 2016) — Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU), Central Indiana’s largest credit union, is excited to announce that InteCare, Inc. is the third quarter winner of the Veterans Related Category for the IMCU Gives Back Campaign and is receiving a $6,000 donation. Each quarter in 2016, IMCU is awarding a $6,000 donation to a not for profit organization that serve Health (quarter one), Education (quarter two), Veterans (quarter three) and Homeless/Basic Needs (quarter four), giving a total of $24,000. IMCU highlights the quarterly category on its website where the public can vote for their favorite nominated organization. The organization that receives the most votes is awarded the $6,000. IMCU created the campaign to celebrate its 60th birthday in 2016.
11 Veteran Related organizations were nominated, and InteCare, Inc. received the most public votes to win the $6,000 donation.
IMCU presented the check to InteCare, Inc. on Friday, October 21, 2016 at the grand opening of IMCU’s Old Meridian Branch. “We appreciate IMCU’s commitment to the community and their dedication in honoring our Veterans,” said Becca Sigafus, MSW, InteCare Chief Operating Officer. “This donation will greatly enhance the lives of our Veterans and their families in our program.”
