Indiana Members Credit Union Celebrates Earth Week

(Indianapolis, IN) – Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU) celebrated Earth Week April 16-21, 2012 at all of their 23 Central Indiana locations.  

Each IMCU Branch hosted a Statement Express promotion during Earth Week, allowing members to sign up for both Statement Express and Courtesy Messaging, which provides monthly statements and messaging to members via email eliminating the need for printed statements and notifications.  Throughout Earth Week, 304 members were enrolled in these services.  

IMCU employees also took part in Earth Week by bringing their lunch to work, carpooling, conserving energy and water, signing up to receive paperless paystubs and enrolling in Statement Express and Courtesy Messaging.  On Friday, April 20th, 126 employees brought their lunch to work and 193 were signed up to receive paperless paystubs.  IMCU also continued participating in their recycling program, $AVE, which was initiated at IMCU by a “Green Team” in February of 2010.
