(Indianapolis, IN)  Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU), Central Indiana’s largest credit union, took part in Fox59’s Day Of Dedication Telethon, to benefit the victims of Southern Indiana affected by the tornadoes, on Monday, March 5, 2012 from 7 pm – 11 pm.

The telethon was held at FOX 59’s television station on Monday the 5th from 4 am until 11 pm and raised $236, 598 for Southern Indiana’s tornado survivors.  IMCU employees volunteered their time by answering phone calls and accepting donations during the telethon, in which IMCU donated $1,000 to assist in the relief efforts.

Ron Collier, CEO of IMCU stated, “Southern Indiana was hit hard by the destructive tornadoes last week and everyone at IMCU wanted to do something to help with the relief efforts.  Donating funds and assisting FOX59 in their telethon was the least we could do.   It’s our hope that our donation will aid the communities touched by this disaster in their rebuilding efforts.”

Donations can still be made by visiting http://fox59.com/help or by calling the Salvation Army at 317-937-7000.
