Indiana Members Credit Union Merger with All Seasons Federal Credit Union will assist Carrier Corporation employees

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (November 1, 2016) — Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU), Central Indiana’s largest credit union, finalized a merger with All Seasons Federal Credit Union of Indianapolis, Indiana on Tuesday, November 1, 2016.

In February 2016, Carrier Corporation announced plans to close their manufacturing facility in Indianapolis, affecting approximately 2,100 employees. All Seasons Federal Credit Union maintained one branch, located inside the Carrier facility with membership made up entirely of Carrier employees. The merger allows these All Seasons Federal Credit Union members uninterrupted access to financial services at any of the twenty-five Indiana Members Credit Union locations across Central Indiana. Indiana Members Credit Union will also maintain the All Seasons staff.

All Seasons Federal Credit Union was originally chartered on June 10, 1969 as Bryant Employees Federal Credit Union by a group of Bryant Heating and Cooling employees. The employees wanted to provide a place for their membership to save money while providing a resource for their members to borrow money at a reasonable rate of interest. On February 23, 1978, the name of the Credit Union was changed to BDP Employees Federal Credit Union. The name was then changed to the current name of All Seasons Federal Credit Union in 1989.
