Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) is committed to the highest standard of regulatory compliance practice. Steps to achieve this standard have involved empowering staff to attain certifications and education to ensure continued enhancement of credit union security. In doing this, members of the LLCU compliance department have recently earned the designation of Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialists (BSACS). The Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist designation showcases a credit union’s commitment to identifying the latest forms of illicit financial activities and understanding evolving Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and anti-money laundering (AML) laws.
“This notable pursuit shows our commitment to upholding rigorous regulatory standards and fortifying our expertise in BSA/AML and compliance protocols,” states LLCU Assistant Vice President and Compliance Officer, Brittni Stout. “We look forward to leveraging our newfound expertise to continually enhance the compliance landscape within our institution, which will in turn help us to provide our members with safe and secure products and services.”
