Iowa Credit Union League CEO elected to Credit Union National Association’s Executive Committee

DES MOINES, IA (April 17, 2014) — Iowa Credit Union League (ICUL) CEO/President, Patrick S. Jury, was recently elected to serve as the Treasurer for the Executive Committee of the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Board of Directors. The election was held at CUNA’s annual general meeting during the Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C. in February. Jury has served on the CUNA Board since 2009.

“It is an honor to serve on CUNA’s Executive Committee,” said Jury. “I believe strongly in the ability of credit unions to improve the financial lives of those they serve and will work diligently to have more Americans choose credit unions as their best financial partner.”

Jury has served as the CEO/President of ICUL since 2006, and has worked at the organization for more than 20 years. Jury also serves as the CEO and board chairman of Affiliates Management Company, the holding company of ICUL. In this position, he provides governance oversight as the chairman of The Members Group, TMG Financial Services, PolicyWorks and Coopera. He represents the interests of Iowa credit unions as an executive committee board member of the World Council of Credit Unions and SHAZAM, Inc., the state’s EFT organization for financial institutions.

“Pat has provided tremendous leadership to CUNA over his board tenure and I’m certain he will be a catalyst for our future success in his new Executive Committee role,” said CUNA President and CEO Bill Cheney.
