IPA announces ATM X-Games best new ATM innovation award winners

SIOUX FALLS, SD & HURST, TX (February 19, 2014) —The ATMIA Integrated Payments Alliance (IPA) is pleased to announce that PAYe Network, Genmega and Planet Payment received ‘best-in-category’ awards during the ATM X-Games. The winners were selected in a live audience participation poll.

Held February 11 during the 2014 ATMIA U.S. Conference in Orlando, the ATM X-Games featured 12 contestants/company's who showcased their new product and services, and competed for awards in three ATM innovation categories: Best ATM Integrated Payments Innovation, Best ATM Technology Innovation and Best ATM Service Innovation.

The winners by category were . . . drum roll please:

PAYe Network won the Best ATM Integrated Payments Innovation award for their PAYe 'Pay-In-Pay-Out' cardless ATM solution. With over a million cash-access-points and counting, PAYe Network's revolutionary technology and unique network architecture connects any customer facing electronic device such as an ATM, POS, kiosk or mobile phone and allows the user to perform a real-time money transfer in a safe and secure open-loop financial network.

Genmega, a leading ATM manufacturing, won for their universal ATM cardless transaction protocol application, PAYeCASH. Genmega's new cardless ATM application enables mobile phone engagement at the ATM. It utilizes a proprietary message protocol that enables ATMs to perform a cardless transaction without any hardware modifications. The application can be download free to the ATM with no host or terminal certification required.

Planet Payment, a leading provider in the international payment, processing and multi-currency processing services, received the Best ATM Service Innovation Award for their dynamic currency conversion service: Pay in Your Currency®. With Pay in Your Currency, international customers enjoy the confidence and convenience of paying in their own currency when they use their credit or debit card. Merchants are able to reduce their cost of foreign card processing and provide a more personalized service, while continuing to be paid in their local currency.

ATMIA Integrated payments alliance
